Ralph G. Jackson is from Tyler, Texas. He is the marine who was convicted of the murder of his lover's husband. His lover at the time was Kathy Charlene Brown also known as "Dusty". The movie "A Matter of Justice" starring Patty Duke is based on this case. Ralph Jackson, also known as Rocky, was convicted of the Sept 2, 1982 stabbing death of Chris Randall Brown. He was convicted in 1983 and served in the Federal Penn until March 4, 2002.
IF HE GOT LIFE IN PRISON....What happen...why is he out. Why is Dusty walking the streets getting into countless trouble with the law....I don't understand....Can someone explain this to me. I'm glad that this guy/Rocky is on the straight and narrow...But still he murder a man..a mother's son...a little girls father....and Dusty is just as guilty as he is.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't make any sense. Iremember watching this movie a long time ago on life time...it has stuck with me every since....Sad story. VERY SAD.
Anyway good luck to him and his family....I'm not the one to judge...that's gods job.
Charlene passed away last monday night. She didn't kill her husband, this ignorant bastard did. She was really a great person, I knew her all her life.

ReplyDeleteNo Charlene may not have done the killing herself but she most defiantly was involved!!! And, how can anyone think for a second that she was a "great person?" I don't care how long anyone has known this person. Not only did she help kill her young husband but she abused her own daughter and allowed a boyfriend to abuse her daughter also!!!! Yeah she was a really great person!!!
ReplyDeleteI watching the movie right now and I will say Mrs Patty duke played the movie she's was a excellent actress from watching this movie Charlene was not a great person all she cared about military benefits and she didn't even cared about the man that she had to kill Chris Brown it was so sad she didn't even love her child all she cared about was collecting benefits but someone says she was a good person alright anyways if you say so
DeleteI don't understand how she only did 4 years in prison for this murder/conspiracy. Obviously she was not a good person, she continued to commit crimes and spent the better portion of her life after release back in prison for other crimes where she victimized people for money, which is what motivated her husbeand's murder. Incredible that both are/were free for their initial crime...and anyone who believes someone stabs another person 26 times in self-defense doesn't understand the nature of these types of crimes. Such "overkill" denotes passion and/or anger. It says "this is personal." This guy should not be walking around free being happy and married and raising a little girl when he took another little girl's father away from her forever. Travesty of justice all the way around.

DeleteRocky, was young. I do not know if he has found GOD, but the purpose of Jesus is that we are not perfect, and no sin is better then another. A sin has no level, or is worse more then the other. In fact, we all sin. We are not perfect. We also are nobody to judge others. That is GODS job! We all stand in front of him, and account for all of our sins! We may not murder anyone, but are full of sin in our own way. The point is he was young, and was caught in the Spiders web. I am sure if Dusty had convinced Chris to murder she could have, and would have. She continued to commit crimes, and never was at peace with herself. However, this man did find a way of life that is decent. He may have killed Chris, but he learned his lesson, and has made better of himself. Chris was truly not a boy scout himself, and although, he did not deserve to die he was also caught in the same web of deceite. Whoever ended up knowing Dusty slowly began to see what a evil disgusting person she was. Ofcourse like all people they she has people who are mentally on the same level as her. She was manipulative, and I feel bad for all the victims whoever ended up crossin paths with her. Rocky, Chris both lost their lives in their own way. Rocky went to prison, and lost years of his life. While Chris lost his life. This may have been tragedy, but it did make Rocky a better person. And wiser in judging evil. He can protect his children. However,the evil soul of Dusty is standing before GOD, and he has told her exactly what piece of crap she was. Her daughter is now following in her shoes. It just shows...an apple does not fall from the tree! She has the same evil soul of her mother. Nothing good has come forth from Dusty. Nothing good from Chris' family! Mary may have been hard, and strong, but she had every reason to be. She sensed the evil in this world, but her naive son could not understand it. She warned him of this jezzable, harlot, but he, like Rocky, was caught in the evil spiders web! Its a shame that Dusty had to pro create an additional, ongoing, rotten soul. It shows that no matter how much goodness surrounds a person it would not penetrate a evil soul! Christine is living proof! I hope to GOD nothing, or any wealth of Marys family was left to her.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind me asking, how do you know that Dusty and Chris's daughter has taken after her? Also, just an observation, but aren't you contradicting yourself by saying that other people shouldn't judge Rocky but you're obviously doing the same thing as they are when it comes to her?
DeleteUnfortunately he turned out to be a pedophile who shouldn’t be around children at all. Prison is the only place he belongs. He was always a bad person and always will be.

ReplyDeleteThat young kid was just beautiful and young . With a evil woman . My Son was same age . When he took in a murderous woman as well .Who was older ... Least she did wait til he was 31 before he was brutally murdered, for her to cash him out. Like he was just common property . I see people getting worse not better !
